Maintenance
Sandstone has rough pores that allow dirt to penetrate the surface easily. Sandstone can be cleaned with warm water and liquid stone soap. This soap cleans the surface but also deep cleans the pores of the stone. This reduces the amount of dirt and dust that gets into the stone. Keep in mind that using harsh chemicals to clean sandstone can damage the surface.
