Cleaning marble is best done with a soft soap or soda, let it soak in for 5 minutes and then rinse and dry thoroughly. Don’t use too much soap, as there may be a thin greasy film left behind. Marble is very sensitive to scratches. Do not use scouring pads or aggressive cleaners. Also do not put objects with sharp edges on marble – this will prevent scratches.
